Ants in the Plants! Our volunteers will be spreading the ant killer on Saturday April 14th.

The spring picnic will held soon. The date and time will be sent out soon. If you would like to volunteer to assist with cooking, face painting, games or setup please email mail@pollardestates.org

Christian Life has requested a building permit for an Activity Center. The actual building plans are for a gymnasium and student dormitory. The meeting before the zoning committe has been potponed twice at the request of Christian Life. The board will send a separate email to residents once we have the date of the hearing. It is important that we have have good attendance at this meeting if we want to defeat having student housing in Pollard.

Pollard Newsletter is coming soon. If you have any items that you would like included please send to mail@pollardestates.org The Pollard newsletter will be distributed soon and also posted at www.pollardestates.org The website is still under construction but look for exciting changes soon. The website will publish information that is submitted regarding Pollard, i.e. lost animals, babysitters, etc.

Security- The new Pollard vehicle stickers are here. Please email mail@pollardestates.org if you would like stickers. The stickers will also be available at the picnic.

If you will be away from your home for an extended period the paid police patrol will stop and walk your yard to make sure that all is ok. If you need this service please send your name, address and the dates patrol requested to mail@ pollardestates.org or call 328-1071. This information will only be shared with our off duty police officers.

Pollard Crime update- Nothing has been reported to C.A.P.E. security.

Neighborhood Watch. If you have a question about Neighborhood Watch please contact Phyllis McKay at 763-9872 or riceaux@aol.com Neighborhood Watch stickers will be available at the picnic.

Louisiana State Police, State Sex Offender and Child Predator Website. This site contains registration information on convicted Sex Offenders or Child Predator's in the state of Louisiana. The website should be checked often and particularly now. http://lasocpr1.lsp.org/default.aspx

The next Pollard board meeting is May 1, 2007. All residents are invited to attend. If you have an item that you would like discussed at the next C.A.P.E. meeting please send to mail@pollardestates.org

We have started an email notification program to inform residents of criminal activity, meetings, picnics and other issues effecting Pollard. To be included on the list please email mail@pollardestates.org Please tell your neighbor about this list so that they can be added.

The Pollard neighborhood directory will be published and delivered in April. Thanks for all the assistance in updating the resident information. Please send updated or new information for the Pollard directory to Mail@pollardestates.org or call George at 328-107 1.
