Fall Newsletter

Neighbors - Believe it or not, fall is quickly approaching, and there are numerous updates for Pollard Estates residents. New Neighbors We continue to welcome new neighbors to Pollard Estates, and we are happy to have an influx of residents who wish to live in the area. With the upcoming events on the horizon, we encourage you to forward this message to any of those you may have met recently so they can join our mailing list and be part of our updated neighborhood directory.

Board Members

Volunteers are needed to serve on the CAPE Board. We would love additional participation from our neighbors, so if you feel called to serve on the board and want to help, please contact us below.

CAPE Dues

If you have not yet paid your CAPE dues please do so as soon as you can! 🌟 You can easily make your payment through the link below on our website, or via Venmo at @Pollard-Estates.

The $150 annual dues per residence help support important neighborhood services, like off-duty police patrols, maintenance, and insurance for our lovely common grounds on Perkins Road. These dues also cover lighting, wireless connections for the license plate reader cameras at our entrances, landscaping, irrigation, and the upkeep of our website and email communications. Plus, they fund the fun social events we host throughout the year!

We’re currently at 55% participation, and our goal is 70%. Your support makes a big difference in keeping Pollard Estates safe, beautiful, and connected! Let’s hit that goal together! 🎯 Thank you for your continued support!

Beautification Update A heartfelt thank you to all the families who generously contributed to our neighborhood beautification fund! While we didn’t quite reach our fundraising goal, we were still able to raise $1,200. Thanks to your support, we’ll be moving forward with refreshing the front entrance beds and adding some new plants to give the neighborhood a fresh look for fall.

Looking ahead, the board has agreed that the most efficient and sustainable way to maintain our landscaping is to increase the groundskeeping budget for 2026. This will allow us to update the beds twice a year — something we believe will really enhance the appearance of our community.

Fall Open Board Meeting

Please join us on Monday, November 17th at 6 PM at the new South Baton Rouge Branch Library for our fall board meeting. Light refreshments will be served. This is a great opportunity to hear the latest updates about our association, participate in board nominations and elections, pose questions you may have and to pay dues for 2025 or the upcoming 2026 year.
